Glass Ornament - Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch — its grand façade, gilded gates and famous balcony draw visitors from around the world, especially for the daily ceremony of the Changing of the Guard.
The palace takes its name from a townhouse built around 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham, later bought by King George III in 1761 as a home for Queen Charlotte. It became the monarch's official residence in 1837, when Queen Victoria took up residence — a role it has held ever since.
This little glass ornament captures a touch of that royal grandeur, small enough to tuck onto the tree or slip into a stocking.
