Glass Ornament - Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey has stood at the heart of British ceremonial life for nearly a thousand years. Founded in 960 AD, the abbey we see today largely dates from the reign of Henry III in the 13th century. William the Conqueror was crowned here in 1066, and every monarch since has followed the same tradition. The abbey has also hosted 16 royal weddings, from Henry I's marriage to Matilda of Scotland in 1100 to Prince William and Catherine Middleton's in 2011.

This little glass ornament captures a touch of that history, small enough to tuck onto the tree or slip into a stocking.
