This hand-illustrated Wild Ginger tray, featuring original artwork by Simon Privett, celebrates Sloane Square, the elegant heart of Chelsea. Laid out in the late 18th century and named after Sir Hans Sloane, whose collections went on to found the British Museum, the square has long been a meeting point between old money and new ideas.
Its plane trees, wrought-iron railings, and handsome Georgian and Victorian townhouses sit alongside the Royal Court Theatre and the grand department stores of the King's Road, making it a corner of London where history and style have always walked side by side.

Lacquer work began in China thousands of years ago. As Chinese goods and skills spread along trade routes, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam adopted the technique and developed their own unique styles. Every Wild Ginger tray follows this tradition and is carefully finished by hand using the same multilayered process handed down through generations.
Created as part of our London collection, honouring the places that hold the city's history and heart.
